Spreading the message about SHEA
12 Dec 2017
Weâ??re spreading the message about the benefits of SHEA â?? at conferences, with a free trainer toolkit and doing targeted activity.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) states that the provision of adequate training and information can have a significant impact on improving health and safety performance in the workplace. Our SHEA courses cover the essentials of safety, health and environmental awareness and each course is contextualised to a specific industry; successful completion allows access to CSCS controlled sites for the purpose of utilities work.
Updated SHEA Waste toolkit
A new marketing toolkit was produced earlier this year to support trainers communicate the redeveloped SHEA Waste course. This has now been revised with the latest stats from the HSE which were released on 1 November. A suite of resources have been developed to help you market this course:
- Briefing on employers health and safety obligations
- Letters / emails for new and existing customers
- Information flyer (hardcopies also available)
Email us to request your copy.
Utility Week Health & Safety Conference
We attended the conference with an exhibition stand. It gave us a chance to talk with many health, safety and environment professionals from across our sector - and spread the word about our SHEA courses.
Activity with Let's Recycle
We are working with Let's Recycle, the leading website for the waste sector, to raise awareness of SHEA Waste. We've sent out an email to many industry professionals and also had a listing on their training provider page (September to November).
Help us spread the message
We now have a new flyer available to promote the SHEA courses. These will be available for trainers to take away when you attend briefings on the updated courses.
If you would like more information about our marketing activities to support SHEA please get in touch with the marketing team - email communications@euskills.co.uk.
