Funding of up to £500 per candidate is available in order for Network Construction Supervisors to gain a nationally recognised registration.
Funding of up to £500 per candidate is available in order for Network Construction Supervisors to gain a nationally recognised registration.
The funding is available to individuals who register for the EUSR Utility Network Construction Supervisor scheme.
To achieve registration individuals must complete:
- A programme of learning that has been recognised by EUSR as meeting all the requirements of the scheme
OR
- A level 3 Network Construction Operations (Water), or Level 4 Gas Network Engineering Management
- A Utility Safety, Health & Environmental Awareness (Utility SHEA) passport in the appropriate industry from Electricity, Gas or Water
- New Roads & Streetworks Act (NRSWA) supervisor certificates for module 1 and modules 10 to 16
Recognised programmes of learning that meet the requirements of the Utility Network Construction Supervisors scheme are available from a number of training providers, however prices and availability may vary. Training provider contact details can be found on the training provider search on www.eusr.co.uk. To qualify for funding employers must be levy payers (in scope) to Construction Skills (CITB).
This funding is available until the end of November 2011, by which all eligible training will need to be completed. Funding is allocated on a first come first served basis.
