SCO Update

The Safe Control of Operations scheme has now been held by EUSR for over 5 years. In light of this, and the recent changes to the SCO procedures the training materials have been updated and refreshed.

The Safe Control of Operations scheme has now been held by EUSR for over 5 years. In light of this, and the recent changes to the SCO procedures the training materials have been updated and refreshed.

Training Providers and SCO trainers have been invited to reapply for training status as part of our ongoing quality assurance processes and trainers will be attending an update briefing in the coming weeks to receive the new materials.

The updated materials will be used for SCO training courses run from Monday 4 October.

Important Dates for Training Providers:

• Sunday 3 October - All courses run using the present version of SCO materials must be completed
• Monday 4 October - Updated materials must be used for all courses. Updated registration documentation must be used for all trainees sitting SCO courses from this point.
• Monday 1 November - All applications for individuals trained on the present version of SCO materials must be received by EUSR

Trainers who have not attended an update briefing prior to Monday 4 October will be unable to train SCO until they have attended an EUSR update briefing.
