Energy Wise: designed to help businesses save money on energy

Did you know two thirds (64%) of UK organisations currently spend between 5% and 10% of their turnover on energy and prices are likely to rise?

The Government's Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) means it is important for businesses to put measures in place to demonstrate they are working towards a greener future. To help organisations deal with these challenges, Energy & Utility Skills (EU Skills) has created Energy Wise, a brand new training and registration scheme.

Energy Wise helps reduce the energy consumption of businesses through simple energy efficiency awareness and behavioural change training. The scheme provides employers with a bottom-up energy saving solution, equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge required to reduce energy consumption in their workplace. Energy Wise is supported by EUSR, the skills register operated by EU Skills. The EUSR team manages tens of thousands of records and provide expert and friendly support. You'll have 24/7 access to your staff records and can be sure of quality, with only those who have passed approved training courses joining the register.

With Energy Wise you have a choice of two options when providing your employees with training

Create your own training course, have it approved for Energy Wise, then register your employees on the EUSR database
Train employees using the existing Level 1 Energy Wise E-Learning module from EU Skills, then register them on the EUSR database
